Descripción

We develop launch technologies to provide commercial suborbital and orbital access to space services with our launchers MIURA 1 and MIURA 5. The company is highly committed on providing space launch services dedicated to small payloads and small satellites. MISSION: As part of a small and dynamic team, you will be responsible for programming through CAD-CAM of various machining machines, as well as supervising the correct transfer of the program to manufacturing at the machine level. RESPONSABILITIES: • Determine the optimal machining strategy to manufacture each component. • Program CNC machines using Siemens NX and Hypermill software and solid models provided by engineering • Work closely with the engineering team to provide crucial design input to manufacturing. • Knowledge of the tools necessary for those operations that involve complex machining, in addition to having the capacity and autonomy to design them. • Provide support in the creation of work instructions for use in the workshop, specifying the most appropriate sequence. • Choose the most appropriate tools in addition to calculating the working conditions.

Required competences:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or analogous field.
  • + 7 years of experience programming CNC machines at the machine level.
  • +7 years of experience with different types of machines: lathe, 3-5 axis machining center, multifunction, etc.
  • + 5 years of experience programming CNC equipment with CAD/CAM software.
  • Extensive knowledge of machining tools/techniques.
  • Experience with different types of metals: aluminum, stainless steel, copper, titanium, alloys with high nickel content, etc.
  • Knowledge of G and M code programming.
  • Extensive knowledge of dimensional and geometric tolerances.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Spoken and written English.

Desired competences:

  • Predisposition to work at the machine level.
  • Previous experience in the aeronautical sector will be valued.
  • Experience with Siemens NX, HyperMill and TeamCenter desired.
  • Knowledge in metrology will be valued.
  • Experience with controls: Fanuc, Heidenhain and Okuma.
